He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Noah Black and Eddie Anderson; sister, Betty Anderson.
Survivors include his son, Jason Wilhite; siblings, Burline Perez, Jackie Hood, Fay Hood, Bert Black and Nancy Claunts and grandchildren, Sierra Wilhite, Mia Thornton and Lila Wilhite
