Robert Paul "Bicycle Bob" Kelley entered his eternal rest on July 10, 2025. He was born April 23,1957 to John W. Kelley and Mary Christine Kelley (nee: Eckhout) in St. Louis, Missouri.
Bob loved his twin daughters, Sara and Rebecca and was thrilled with the recent birth of his grandson, Alistar. He had a real passion and adventurous spirit for fast cars, motorcycles, biking, scuba diving, and repairing his cars. He owned MidWest Dive Shop, taught diving, was a Certified Master Diver and enjoyed many ocean dives. He loved animals and devoted himself to rescuing stray cats.
Bob is survived by his sister and her husband, Christine Kelley (Dan) Fitchett, his beloved daughters, Sara (Quintin Magalski) Gunn and Rebecca (Nicholas Chronister) Gunn, and his grandson, Alistar. In addition, he is survived by Christine's daughter, Jennifer Kelley (Kevin), his aunt, Elizabeth Cook, sister-in-law, Darice Kelley, nephews Ryan (Angel) Kelley, Joshua (Tanya) Kelley, Matthew Kelley, and niece Terisa (Chad) Koehler, as well as numerous cousins, great nieces and nephews, and friends.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary Kelley, his infant sister, Mary Catherine and his brothers, Michael Kelley, John Kelley, and Fred Kelley.
Bob's family will hold a memorial service at a later date. In honor of Bob, memorial contributions may be made to Open Door Animal Sanctuary.
