Robert James Porter was born October 13, 1947 to Alice and Vince Porter in Spokane, WA. He attended elementary schools in Spokane Valley and graduated from Richland High School. After attending Central Washington State College, he joined the U.S. Air Force and served in South Korea. His early career was in graphic design with Boise-Cascade, but he eventually worked as comptroller at VA Medical Center. Bob was creative, clever and kind. He retired to a quiet life at his home in the foothills of the Blues where he died on June 19, 2025.
