Born in Flushing, Queens, NY. He was one of ten children. Beloved son of the late Angelo and Vivian Giacini.
His love of golf began as a young boy working as a caddy at Garden City C. C. on Long Island.

1977- Ike tournament- champion (youngest person to win the tournament at the time)
1987- Long Island Pub Links- Champion
1988- Nassau Invitational- Champion
1989- Long Island Amateur- Champion

Colonie Hill GC on Long Island- Asst Golf Prof.
Pine Hollow CC on Long Island- Asst Golf Prof.
Maxwell Turf & Supply Co.- Sales Rep. AKA- "Sand Man"
Tampa Bay Downs Race Track- Money Room
The golf course and the thoroughbred race track were his favorite places to be. He was a talented handicapper which was well known among his friends and family.
Michael is survived by his wife and daughter April; his siblings Bob, Anita, Rosemary, Christine, Dan, Loretta, Paul, Valerie and Kathy.

We will always remember Mike. He went to Meadowlands with Cornell.Saw him at Palace so many times. He was our neighbors in Ridge NY. Cornell golfed with him many times. He was a great golfer.
