Roberta Annette Stevens-Evans was called home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at the age of 85. Born in Urbana, Ohio to Hiawatha B. Davis & Ned Clarence Stevens, she grew up with a love for singing, dancing, painting, and playing the piano. She graduated from Urbana High School and went on to have a fulfilling career as a lab technician for thirty-plus years.
She was a woman of God, a devoted mother to Steven Evans, Gaye Evans, Tamera Evans-Lurry, & Gina Evans. She was a cherished grandmother to Tony Lurry Jr., Kameron Lurry, Chelsey Lurry, Madison Evans, Arijon Evans, Deshawn Evans, Mia Evans, Mekhi Evans, Jalen Evans, De'Andre Evans, & Tarah Bishop. She was also an adored great-grandmother to Tori Houseton, Mari Dickson, Ricky Cavendish, and a dear friend to many.
Remembered for her warm-hearted nature, kindness, and sense of humor, Ann touched the lives of everyone who knew her. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered for her loving kindness.
Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 from 5:00-7:00 PM at the Walter and Lewis Funeral Home, Urbana. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at 11:00 AM, also the funeral home. Burial to follow at Oak Dale Cemetery.
