Born on April 30,1936 in Glenham SD to Arthur and Rose Nordstrom, Roger was the middle son between his brothers Chester and Arthur Nordstrom Jr. He served in the Army in Germany 1958-1960 and in the Army Reserves from 1960-1964. He also worked as a lineman for many years traveling around the Midwest, later returning to Mobridge where he had a painting business and worked in landscaping for the county.
Roger was active in the American Legion and involved in his church along with being a champion skeet shooter and avid sportsman. Roger loved talking to people and was a good friend and neighbor to many in the community.
He is survived by his niece Teresa Kalista of Bellevue WA, and his nephew Greg Nordstrom of Spanaway WA.
