Ronald Bourdeau Obituary
Lake Linden: Ronald Larry Bourdeau, 85, of Lake Linden, Michigan, Sunrise-September 16, 1939, Sunset-July 4, 2025. He passed away at Canal View Houghton County after a short illness.
He was born at the family home in Lake Linden, a son of George "Jim" and Loraine (Dessellier) Bourdeau. He attended Lake Linden Schools and served in the US Army as a paratrooper. He was an electrician for 50 years and a member of the IBEW.
Ron spent most of his life in Lake Linden and was known by everyone. He was always a quick wit and entertained at large. He enjoyed kayaking and woodworking; he remodeled his home with an artistic flair.
Ron was married to Emily Gervais on June 17, 1961 at Holy Rosary in Lake Linden.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, a son-Jacques, brother-Dale, and brother-Kenneth that died in 1938.
Ron leaves behind: his wife of 64 years-Emily; daughters-Bridget (Bruce) Wilkinson and Vicki (John) Gravier; grandchildren-Kai, Noa, Lorena, Madalyn, and Aubrey; brothers-Gary (Mary) Bourdeau and Roger Bourdeau; sister-in-law-Nina; and many nieces and nephews.
The celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. The Pearce Funeral Home in Lake Linden is in charge of arrangements.
