Ronald "Shane" Cox, 54, of Asheboro, passed away on Friday, May 9, 2025 at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem.
A Private Family Celebration of Life Service will be held with military honors by the Randolph County Honor Guard.
Shane was a native and lifelong resident of Randolph County. He was a 1988 graduate of Eastern Randolph High School and was a veteran of the United States Army, having served in "Desert Storm". Shane was a truck driver with Old Dominion and was a motorcycle enthusiast.
Survivors: wife of 11 years, Heather Thorn Cox, of the home, twin daughters, Tiffany Cox, of Trinity, Victoria Cox and fiance, Alexander Aragon, of Winston Salem, son, Riley Thorn Cox, of the home, parents, Loyd and Faye Burgess Cox, of Asheboro, his "fur buddy", Macho as well as many friends and special loved ones.
