Spring Gap, MD- Ronald Blair Landis, Jr., 79, of Spring Gap, MD, passed away on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at UPMC-Western Maryland.

Born July 16, 1946 in Cumberland, MD, Mr. Landis was the son of the late Ronald Blair Landis, Sr. and Hilda Rita (Mullen) Landis; and was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

Ronald was a graduate of Oldtown High School Class of 1964 and was a Veteran of the United States Army. He retired from CSX Railroad and then owned and operated Route 51 Services for many years. Ronald was a member of the America Legion Post #13, the Cumberland Outdoor Club and the Goodfellowship Club. He liked to keep busy whether it was flying, drinking beer and talking with his friends or piddling around his shop.

Ronald is survived by his wife of 43 years: Barbara Landis; his son: Jason Robinette; his grandchildren: Alexis Robinette, Tiara Robinette, and Jax Robinette; as well as 5 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur Street, Cumberland, MD, on Friday, July 25, 2025 from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M.

Military Honors will be accorded at the funeral home at 2:00 P.M. by the Post #13 Veterans Honor Guard.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the funeral home.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Nathan Grabenstein, Barry Smith, Bill Adams and Mike Adams for all the assistance and care provided.

I worked with Ronnie on the csx rr we became friends Ronnie was one of a kind. We had lots of good times together. He will be missed by all. Fly high good buddy.
