Ronald Lupton Obituary

Ronald T. Lupton, born on October 9, 1944, in Washington, North Carolina, peacefully passed away in his home on August 2, 2025, in Ayden, North Carolina, at the age of 80. By his side were his son, his wife, and other loving family members including Kenneth Latham, Theresa Latham, and Logan Latham.

A man of deep faith and unwavering dedication, Ronald was a loving and devoted father, a proud follower of Jesus Christ, and a cherished member of the community.

He honorably served his country in the Army National Guard from 1963 to 1969, first in Artillery and later as a Military Police Officer. With a strong work ethic, Ronald contributed his skills and expertise to PCS Phosphate and Tripp Brothers Construction during his career.

Ronald's interests were many, but he especially enjoyed fishing and working outdoors, finding peace and contentment in nature's embrace. He was a dedicated member of Freedom Baptist Church in Ayden, NC, where he drew strength from his faith and fellowship with others.

He is preceded in death by his father, Phillip Dalton Lupton; his mother, Gladys Fisher Lupton; his sister, Nancy Lupton Brame; and his brother, Daniel Elliot Lupton.

He is survived and lovingly remembered by his devoted wife of 58 years, Linda Lupton; his son, Michael Lupton; and his sister, Elaine Harris. His legacy of love, strength, and faith will be carried on by those who knew and cherished him.

A Memorial Service is scheduled for 2:00 pm on Saturday August 16th, 2025, at Freedom Baptist Church located at 234 Snow Hill Street Ayden, NC 28513.
