Ronald Wade Moore, age 59, passed away on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at his home in Clay City, Kentucky. He was born in Middletown, Ohio, on March 25, 1966, to the late Cecil Albert Moore and the late Jessie Pearl Puckett Moore. Ron was a dedicated machinist at Danville Machinery, where he found both passion and camaraderie among his coworkers. Known as the go-to guy, he was the person everyone relied on for his expertise and support. Outside of work, Ron immersed himself in the world of music, where his love for the acoustic guitar flourished. Whether he was strumming along at church services, playing with local groups, or simply enjoying a quiet evening at home, his remarkable talent allowed him to play just about any song that came to mind. Beyond music, Ron was a true craftsman with a knack for carpentry. He had an impressive range of skills, tackling various projects with ease, whether it was plumbing issues, home projects, or meticulously cutting firewood for winter. His enthusiasm for hands-on work reflected his commitment to giving his best in all endeavors. As a valued member of the Brush Creek Pentecostal Church, Ron eagerly anticipated the annual back-to-school bash. This event was a highlight of his year, and he threw himself into supporting it with genuine enthusiasm. What truly set Ron apart was his selfless nature. He consistently prioritized the needs of others over his own, often giving away what little he had to help those in need. Despite not having much, he radiated a spirit of generosity, touching the lives of everyone around him. In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by three brothers: Robert Wayne Moore, Cecil Moore, Jr., and James Moore; and two sisters: Betty Tolson and Wanda Begley. He is survived by three children: Stephen (Lydia) Moore of Middletown, Ohio, Jay Moore of Wilmore, and Hayley Dunn of Clay City; five brothers: Larry Moore, Jack Moore, Roger Moore, and Roy Moore all of Middletown, Ohio, and George Moore of Piedmont, South Carolina; two sisters: Barbara Venters of Trenton, Ohio, and Sandra Stacy of Middletown, Ohio; and seven grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at Brush Creek Pentecostal Church, Brush Creek Road, Clay City, Kentucky. Funeral services, officiated by Rev. George R. Moore and Stephen Moore, will be held immediately following visitation at 3:00 P.M. Burial will be at Moore Family Cemetery in Clay City with Richard Stacy, Roger Moore, Roy Moore, Larry Moore, Stephen Moore, Dustin Venters, and Nate Moore serving as active pallbearers. Cecil Venters has been selected as an honorary pallbearer. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hearne Funeral Home of Stanton.
