Rosa Delia Garcia, age 77, a long-life resident of Sierra Blanca, Texas passed away on June 16,2025 at Culberson Hospital in Van Horn, Texas.
Born January 6, 1948, to the late Serapio and Maria Urbina. Rosa was married to the late Severo M. Garcia and together they raised five children. Three boys, Alfredo, Mark, and Hector and two girls, Patsy (Adolfo) and Elizabeth. Rosa also had nine grandchildren: Joshua, Eriq, Melodie (Jesiah), Adolfo (Stephanie), Aidan, Elijah (Samanda), Robert, Adrianna, and Analeya. Along with being blessed with 13 Great-Grandchildren. Whom she loved and cherished.
Those left to cherish her memory are her brothers, Marino Urbina (Yolanda), Ramon Urbina (Lola), Peter Urbina (Amy), and sisters Jessie Sanchez, Yolanda Theus (Leonard), Margaret Natera, Helen Glenn, and Terry Sanchez. Predeceased by her brothers Javier Urbina Sr. and Serapio Urbina Jr.
Rosa was a loving and caring mother and grandmother that loved being surrounded by her family. She will be dearly missed by her children, grandchildren, and family members.
Services will be held at The Lady of Miracles Catholic Church in Sierra Blanca, Texas. Rosary will be on Monday June 30th at 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm; The funeral mass officiated by Father Sergio Legarreta, will be on Tuesday July 1st at 10:00 am. The burial will follow at the Sierra Blanca Cemetery.
The Pallbearers serving are Joshua Ramirez, Eriq Bustamante, Adolfo Ramirez, Aidan Urbina, Elijah Ramirez, Robert Morales, Chuy Mancillas and Richard Ayers.
The funeral arrangements are in the care of Heritage Funeral Home of Van Horn, Texas.
