Rosalina Zoleta Obituary

Rosalina M. Zoleta beloved wife, mother, and grandmother of Piscataway entered eternal rest Wednesday evening, July 23rd, 2025 at the age of 80.

Rosalina ("Rose" or "Baby") was born in Gapan, Nueva Ecija in the Philippines on May 22nd, 1945 to the late Gregorio Masilang and Mercedes Walawala. She graduated from Nueva Ecija High School in 1960 and earned her Bachelor's Degree in Commercial Science at University of East in the Philippines. Rose immigrated to the United States in 1967, and pursued a career as an auditor for the State of NJ, where she worked for over 20 years until her retirement. She lived a life rooted in deep faith and family.

Rosalina is survived by her devoted husband of 54 years, Reynaldo Zoleta of Piscataway; her son, Jeffrey Zoleta, and his wife Karen, of Macungie, PA; her daughter, Julie Montany, and her husband Charles, of Metuchen; her sister Fe Wong, and her husband Francis, of Lawrence Township; and her treasured granddaughters: Hazel, Charlotte, Mila, and Emmalina.

The Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 29th, 2025 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at Costello-Runyon Funeral Home.

The Funeral Mass will begin at 10:15am at St. Francis Cathedral in Metuchen.
