Rosalio De La Rosa Castillo, 56, entered his eternal rest on Monday, August 11, 2025, while surrounded by his loving family. He was born on December 28, 1968, in Cerritos, San Luis Potosi, Mexico to his parents Daniel Castillo Banda and Juliana Castillo De La Rosa.

Rosalio was a man of many trades, he was a truck driver for Tyson, was a laborer at Kitchen Pride and most recently worked part-time at Golden Chick. He was hard-working, a man molded by hard work and lots of dedication. He enjoyed being outside whether it was doing any gardening or simply watching his grandchildren play outside. He was good company to be around, always joking and making others around him feel comfortable. He enjoyed listening to old Mexican music, and among his many joys in life, being a dependable father to his children brought him a great sense of joy. Rosalio was an anchor to his family, his absence brings a lot of heartache for his family, but they find closure in knowing he is resting and at peace.

He is survived by his wife Maria De Jesus Torres Villanueva, mother Juliana Castillo De La Rosa, son Israel Castillo (Merideth), daughter Celeste Castillo (Jose Angel), two grandchildren Jose Adriel Angel Castillo, Jr. and Zulema Rosalia Angel Castillo. He is also survived by his brothers Francisco Castillo, Gerardo Castillo, Felipe Castillo (Alma) and Jose Castillo (Leticia), sisters Maria Escalante (Juan), Juana Maria Castillo and Martha Castillo, along with many nieces and nephews, and the mother of his children Janie.

He is preceded in death by his father Daniel Castillo Banda and his brother Manuel Castillo.
