Mr. Sonnier, age 79 of Dupont, passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2025 at his residence.
He is preceded in death by his parents; D.J. and Lillie Mae Langley Sonnier and a sister, Linda Magnon.
Survivors include his wife, Marlene Dupre' Sonnier of Dupont; his children, Carrie Clark of WA, Lonnie Rousselle of NC, Joseph Derek Sonnier of Dupont, Timothy Daniel Sonnier of Lettsworth, Patty Gifford of FL and Ilene Bell of WA; two sisters, Barbara Gribble of Lake Charles and Beverly Romero of Kinder; 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday from 11:00 p.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Plaucheville.

So very sorry for the family. Worked with Russell many years and remember some of the family. He will be greatly missed.
