Rusty Woolbright, 67, of Keota passed away June 9th, 2025, at his home. He was born June 23rd, 1957 in Stigler to Donald and Beverly (Davis) Woolbright. He grew up and graduated from Keota High School. He was married to Janie Boggs on August 27, 1989 and made their home together. He worked as a mechanic most of his life and retired from Gordon Construction. His hobbies included working in his garden, watching sports, especially the Sooners and Chiefs. He loved his family and spending time with them. He also loved going to concerts and riding motorcycles. Rusty is survived by his wife; Janie Woolbright of the home: 2 sons, Luther Woolbright and wife Tonya of Keota, Rusty Don Woolbright and wife Megan of Keota; 1 daughter, Carmia McClung and husband Jason of Porter; 6 grandchildren, Chassidy Blakeley, Tristen Thompson, Miranda Ornder, Raven Woolbright, Logan Roberts, Carson McClung; 2 great grandchildren; Tyson and Iris; 1 Sister, Shirley Lowe and husband Terry of Stigler; 1 brother, Jeff Barnett of Fort Smith; his Mother, Beverly Duffle of Stigler; Special aunt, Jolita Honeycutt of Stigler; his special buddy, (his dog Bella); Mother-in-Law Helen Boggs of Tamaha. He is preceded in death by his father, Donald Woolbright; Special grandmother, Jewell Davis; 1 grandbaby; Cheri Gayle Woolbright.
Funeral services will be Thursday, June 12, 2025, at 1:00 P.M. at Unity Baptist Church with Reverend Tommie Parker officiating. The Eulogist will be Pastor Scott Welch. The Pallbearers will be Rusty Don Woolbright, Luther Woolbright, Brett Lashley, Joe Maxwell, Ron Barraw, Logan Roberts. Burial will follow at Tamaha Cemetery under the direction of King & Shearwood Funeral Home of Stigler.
