Sally J. Cousins, 84 of Marlette, Michigan died Monday, July 14, 2025 after a brief illness.

Sally was born on May 8, 1941, in Marlette Township to Lee and Olive (Boyne) Hobson. She graduated from Marlette High School with the Class of 1959. Sally married Charles Cousins on January 23, 1960, in Fairbanks, Alaska where he was stationed in the Army. Sally had deep faith in our Lord and was a member of Bethel Church. She was a hardworking farm girl. Sally was even crowned Bean Queen in the County Fair and was runner up in the State Level. She was known for her talent for sewing and baking goods. She worked as a seamstress fitting wedding dresses but most of her time was dedicated to raising and caring for six children. She had a great sense of humor and found time to play tricks on Charlie. Sally's quiet, reserved and proper presence will be greatly missed.

Sally is survived by her husband of 65 years, Charles Cousins; daughters, Tamera (Richard) Stahl of Caro, Carmell (Michael) Pattullo of Caro, Angela (Kraig) Vincke of Chesaning and Conni Cousins of Sandusky; son, William (Kandi) Cousins of East Tawas; sisters, Connie (Fara) Samadany of Texas, Robin (Michael) Bearden of Caro. 10 grandchildren; 7 step grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, Todd Cousins; and her brother Colin (Arvilla) Hobson.

Visitation and Funeral Services will be held Marlette First Church, 3155 Main Street Marlette, Michigan on Friday, August 15, 2025, visitation at 10:00 am and the service at 11:00 am, luncheon immediately following in the adjoining hall and burial will follow at the Marlette Cemetery.
