Sally had a long-time career with McDonnell Douglas / Boeing, retiring in 2016. She moved to Goldfield in 2018, to enjoy her retirement in a more quiet, relaxed part of the country, where she loved to flower garden and rescue cats.
Sally passed away on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at Humboldt County Memorial Hospital, at the age of 68 years. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Dennis Nelson and Paul Nelson; nephews, Randy Nelson, Jr and Mike Nelson and niece, Ashley Graham.
Sally is survived by her siblings: Leroy Nelson (Marilyn) of Canyon Lake, CA, Steve Nelson (Gail) of San Juan Capistrano, CA, Stan Nelson (Sophia) of Chino, CA, Mike Nelson of Utah, Randy Nelson (Lois) of Crescent City, CA, Kathy Stark (Frank) of Meridian, ID, Elaine Graham (Lance) of Culleoka, TN and Cindy Nelson of Hemet, CA; 35 nieces and nephews, 48 great nieces and nephews and many great great nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family. No services will be held.
