Samuel Jeffrey Davis, 59, of Ashland, Kentucky, passed away on June 27, 2025, at his residence.
Samuel was born in the winter of 1965 on November 5. He was the blessing of the late Donald Lee Davis and Betty Hardeman Rucker. Sam was a proud graduate of Paul Blazer High School. He had a passion for the outdoors and found joy in camping and fishing. When he was younger, he loved being out on the open road riding motorcycles. Sam loved music, he found peace in the lyrics and melody of a good song. He also enjoyed working with electronics and spent many hours tinkering with speakers. Sam worked in Telecommunications for over 30 years. Sam had a gift for making friends wherever he worked across the country with a sense of humor, warm personality, he left smiles and good stories making him unforgettable.
Above all, Sam was a devoted and very proud father to his son, Samuel D. Davis, lovingly known as "Sammy" to family and friends. He is also survived by his brother, Scott Davis, and sister-in-law, Monique Davis of Bend, Oregon, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, special cousins, extended family members, and cherished friends.
Sam's life will be celebrated in the stories and memories shared by those who loved him. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
Arrangements will be announced by the family at a later date.
