Sandra Faye Land, 82, of Greensburg, KY passed away Sunday, July 6, 2025, at her residence. She was born on April 3, 1943, in Louisville, KY to the late Cecil Elzy and Jennie Ella Baker Lowery. Sandra married Robert Harold Land on June 2, 1962, they resided in Louisville, KY and she was a bookkeeper for Atlas Concrete Construction Company. After retirement they would move to Greensburg, KY in 2002.
Mrs. Land was a member of Trinity Church, and she enjoyed sewing, being a homemaker for her family and the community and spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include her husband of 63 years Robert Harold Land; two children Bobbi Cheryl Land McCarroll (Timothy E.) of Edmonton, KY and Jeffrey Michael Land (Lynn B.) of Louisville, KY; four grandchildren Casey McCarroll and Tanner McCarroll both of Memphis, TN, Thomas Land (Julie) and Jacob Land both of Cincinnati, OH; two siblings Debbie Lemons (Charles) of Columbia, KY and Sam Lowery (Roberta) of Louisville, KY; a honorary daughter Janice Abeln; a honorary grandson Chase Abeln (Leah) and several nieces, nephews, friends, and other relatives.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two siblings Boyce Lowery, his wife Anna, Trudy Crabb, her husband Mike and honorary son Jeff Abeln.
Funeral services will be at 1:00pm on Friday, July 11, 2025, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with burial in the Cane Valley Cemetery, Bro. Steve Pescosolido will be officiating.
Visitation will be on Friday after 10:00am at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Green River Hosparus or Taylor Regional Hospital Cancer Center.
