Sara Pavlovicz Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Waite Funeral Home Medina on Jul. 17, 2025.

Publish in a newspaper

Sara Louise Pavlovicz, 76 of Medina, Ohio passed away peacefully on July 15, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Sara was born in West Virginia to the late Edgar and Mary (Batta) Music on April 19, 1949. Sara graduated from North Royalton High School, Class of 1967 where she met and later married the love of her life, Joseph Pavlovicz on April 8, 1972. Together they built a home in Seville, Ohio where they raised their four children.
Sara prioritized being a stay-at-home mother and took pride in teaching her children the value of working hard for what you want. She taught them to honor God, treasure family and to love their country. Sara loved her community and after raising her family served as Montville Trustee & Medina Co. Commissioner. She worked hard to make a difference. Sara was a true patriot.
To know Mrs. P was to love her, and she gladly welcomed you into her heart and home. She was a fabulous host and an even better cook. No one left hungry (or without gas). Sara especially loved throwing the annual 4th of July party and seeing loved ones gather to celebrate their freedoms. Sara had an eye for all things that glitter and wore her sparkly clothing and accessories with unmatched style, but even they couldn't outshine her magnetic personality. She loved her people fiercely. Sara was strong in ways that made you stronger. She passed that strength onto her children and then enjoyed watching them soar. Her greatest joys were her kids & grandchildren and never missed a chance to support and cheer them on.
Sara is survived by her beloved husband of 53 years, Joe; her 4 children, Amy (Keith) Broadsword, Joseph (LeeAnn) Pavlovicz, Jennifer (Dustan) Tryon, Kristin (Andy) Bishop; her 9 grandchildren, Trevor, Joey, Dylan, Gracie, Dawson, Josie, Parker, Delaney and Bailey; and her 3 siblings, Edward (Rosanna) Music, Christopher (Darlene) Music and Edgar Music. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Marilyn Myers.
The family will receive friends on Monday, July 21, 2025, from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Waite Funeral Home, 765 N. Court St. Medina, Ohio 44256 with a Memorial Service on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Waite Funeral Home.
