Sarah Rhodes Obituary

Sarah F. Rhodes, age 89, of Westerville,OH joined her beloved husband, Willie (Bill) Rhodes in eternity on July 7. Preceded in death by husband, Willie R. Rhodes; son, Willie R. Rhodes Jr; grandson, Matthew M. Mangia; Brother, Willis Hamilton; and sisters, Reba Stanforth and Mary Liebert. Surviving is daughter, Debra L (Rhodes) Mangia (Marc); daughter-in-law, Joann L. (Post) Rhodes; granddaughters, Jennifer Rhodes, Michelle M Mangia; grandson, Alex Rhodes; sister, Martha Todd; and brother Scott Hamilton, as well as great grandkids. Sarah worked for TransAmerica Insurance for many years. She loved the outdoors and was an avid camper. Sarah also loved working on all different kinds of crafts. In the last 5 years she has enjoyed going to Inniswoods Metro Gardens and the Whetstone Park of Roses to view all of the beautiful flowers. A private family service was held at the Moreland Funeral Home with burial to follow. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Dementia Society of America, www.dementiasociety.org.
