Savanna Nicole Weakley, 27, of Fayetteville, West Virginia, was called home to be with the Lord on August 2, 2025.
Savanna was a loving and devoted mother to her greatest blessing, her six-year-old son, Hunter Blake McDonald. She found her truest joy in being his mom, and her love for him was boundless.
She was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Linda Weakley, Brenda Hobbs, and Hezpth J. Hunt, as well as her beloved bonus father, Gray Lynn Hunt, who loved her as his own.
Left to cherish her memory are her devoted parents, Lola Faye Hunt and Johnny Steve Weakley, and her bonus mother, Melanie Weakley; her siblings, Lisa Carver (Robbie) and Jackie Jones; grandfathers, George Hobbs and Steve Weakley; bonus grandmothers, Jean Hobbs and Netta Weakley; and her bonus sisters, Angela Sherlin, Amanda Rider, Courtney Gabel, and Megan Gabel.
Savanna was a proud aunt to her nieces and nephews; Dixie M., Izzy C., Cayden N., Adara M., and Gracie C., and a loving great-aunt to Nova Downey.
Savanna shared a special lifelong bond with her best friends, Tina Rhodes and Katriena Hawkins, who became family through love and time. A host of extended family and friends will carry forward her memory with love and honor.
Savanna was deeply loved and brought light, laughter, and compassion to those around her. Her strength, kindness, and warmth will remain in our hearts forever.
The family extends their sincere gratitude for all the prayers, kind words, messages, and generous support during this difficult time.
In keeping with Savanna's loving and generous spirit, the decision was made to donate that so that others may live. Per her wishes, Savanna will be cremated. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date to honor her beautiful spirit.
"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."
- Psalm 34:18
