Scott L. Pile, 23, of Berkeley Heights, NJ, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 2, 2025.
Born on October 29, 2001, in Morristown, NJ, Scott was the beloved son of Kathleen E. (née Sitkowski) and Michael T. Pile. A lifelong resident of Berkeley Heights, he was a proud graduate of Governor Livingston High School, Class of 2020.
Following high school, Scott pursued his passion for hands-on work, becoming a skilled plumbing technician with Arrow Sewer & Drain LLC in South Plainfield, NJ. He was currently employed at Air Group LLC in Whippany, NJ.
Scott was a talented athlete who excelled in both baseball and gymnastics. His free time was often spent fishing, gaming, and working on cars.
He is survived by his loving parents, Mike and Kathy Pile; his cherished siblings, Sam, Sean, and Katherine Pile; and his grandmother, Nancy Pile. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, and friends. Scott was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Kathleen and Leonard Sitkowski, and his paternal grandfather, Donald Pile.
Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Sunday, June 8, 2025, from 1:00 to 4:00 PM at Paul Ippolito Berkeley Memorial, 646 Springfield Avenue, Berkeley Heights, NJ. A funeral service will be held during the visitation, beginning at 3:30 PM. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Scott's memory to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) by visiting www.NAMI.org.
