Sergeant Richard J. Beliveau, Jr., Rhode Island National Guard ,47, passed away suddenly at home on Friday, August 1, 2025. Born in Providence, RI, on November 15, 1977, he was the son of the late Richard J. Beliveau, Sr., and Joanne (Law) Beliveau.

Richard was the loving husband of Kerri (Cipolla) Beliveau. They married in March of 2018, and enjoyed many years of love and laughter together.

Besides his wife Kerri He is survived by his three children: Richard Beliveau III, Robert Beliveau, and Ava Beliveau; two step-children Olivia LaCroix and Nathan LaCroix. He is also survived by his two sisters, Karen Law and Yvonne Beliveau as well as many friends and RING comrades.

At the age of 17, Richard began a lifetime of service in the Rhode Island National Guard, proudly wearing the uniform for nearly three decades. His dedication to his fellow soldiers and his country was unwavering, and he forged bonds that became like family.

While his uniform showed discipline, his personality told a different story-full of humor, quick wit, and the kind of mostly inappropriate jokes that made you laugh when you knew you shouldn't. He cherished the simple things in life- his cats, spending time fishing, enjoying a good book, and gathering with his lifelong friends from his teenage years.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, August 7, 2025, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Carpenter-Jenks Funeral Home, 659 E. Greenwich Avenue, West Warwick, RI. Burial with full military honors will be private at St. Ann's Cemetery in Cranston.
