We are saddened to announce the passing of Shannon Rowe Freeman. Shannon, 55, passed away peacefully in the presence of her family on Wednesday morning, January 8th, 2025, while at McLeod Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:00 at the Chapel Norton Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Magnolia Cemetery. Steve Winburn will officiate. Visitation will be Saturday 3-5 pm at the funeral home.
Shannon was born in Florence a daughter of Donald Melvin (Don) Rowe and Sedell Lee Rowe.
Shannon was known for her kind heart and generous spirit. She would help anyone who needed it without expecting anything in return. Her favorite thing in the world was spending time with her “monkey”, Abigail. Shannon had a special relationship with her many nieces and nephews.
Surviving is her husband Clinton Heath Freeman, Hartsville; one son, Chancelor (Laura Beth), McFalls, Graham, N.C.; her parents listed above; two sisters, Donna (Todd) Cassidy, Hartsville and Kelly (Gary) Butler, Hartsville; one grandchild, Abigail McFalls, Graham, N.C.; Mother and father in law, Clint and Linda Freeman, Hartsville; Special Aunt, Robin Lane, Darlington; two special friends, Michelle “Moose” Caddell, Hartsville and Cheryl “Squirrel” Burch, Hartsville.
