Sharon Charles Obituary

Sharon was born in Ironwood, Michigan, and was a long-time resident of Hurley. Whether she was shopping for treasures, cheering at the races, dining out or enjoying a night at the casino-she brought warmth and joy wherever she went.
Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, Jim, with whom she was a proud military wife who stood beside her family with unwavering strength and grace, embracing the challenges and sacrifices that came with that life.
She is survived by her son, Jim; daughters, Kathy (Dave) and Tanya (Glenn); long-time companion, Dave; sisters, Tina and Linda; niece, Joy (Satch); grandchildren, Tasha
(John), Jessica, Nate (Dyllan), Jimmy (Victoria) and Melissa (Preston); and four beloved great-grandchildren.
A gathering for family and friends will be held at a later date.
And for those close to her, they'll always remember one final moment of laughter and mystery: "What's in the box?" A reminder of her playful spirit and the way she kept us curious, smiling and guessing.
