Sharon R. Covrett, 79, of Marysville, passed away Saturday evening, July 12, 2025, at Prestige Gardens after months of failing health.
Sharon was born July 5, 1946, in Springfield to the late Donald R. & Marjorie J. (Dean) Lough. A 1964 graduate of Marysville High School, she attended both Columbus State Community College and Nationwide Beauty School. She worked as a hair dresser for years before becoming an associate at LabCorp of America, where she retired.
Sharon had a naturally sweet and sparkling personality. She was the most steadfast friend and she relished the relationships she developed through her years as a hairdresser. She was a dedicated mom through and through, filling both roles of mom and dad when her kids were young, and she was so proud of her family. Nothing gave her greater joy than being a mom and a grandma.
She is survived by her son, Barry Anderson; grandchildren Jeweliana and Aumbria Urban; siblings Jayne Geer, Stephen (Darlene) Geer, and Darold (Jerri) Lough; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her children Jarod Anderson and Rachel Wolfe Urban; and her step-father Donald Geer.
In keeping with Sharon's wishes, no services will be held. Ingram & Snyder Funeral Home is honored to serve Sharon's family, and condolences may be expressed to them at www.IngramFuneralService.com.
