Sharon Kay Dashner, age 59, passed away Saturday, April 19, 2025, at ProMedica Flower Hospital with her mother by her side. Sharon was born March 23, 1966, to John D. and Janice (Netcher) Dashner at Parkview Hospital in Toledo, Ohio.
Sharon was a member of the Element Church in Blissfield for many years. She enjoyed reading, doing crafts, and watching birds.
Sharon is survived by her mother, Janice Dashner; nephews: Christopher (Melissa) Dashner, Jonathan (Emily) Dashner; niece: Jessica Dashner (Tony Kleparek); great-nephews: Eion, Ezra, and Owen: aunts and uncles; Rosmary Linehan, Diana West, Jim (Christina) Netcher, Charles Netcher, John (Justine) Netcher, and Judy Dashner: several cousins; good friends: Jerry and Sheri Blase and Johnny Cole, and her loving cat Baby.
Sharon is preceded in death by her father, John D. Dashner, brother, John L. Dashner, maternal and paternal grandparents; aunts and uncles: Charles (Josie) Dashner, Howard Dashner, Margaret (George) Schwartz, Marilynn and Kathy Netcher, Pat West, and Barbara Lowery.
A celebration of life service for Sharon will be held at the Blissfield Baptist Church on Thursday, May 1, 2025, at 11:00 am with Pastors Tom Frantz and Gayle Ruble officiating. The burial will be at a later date at Pleasant View Cemetery, Blissfield.
Memorial contributions can be made to either the American Cancer Society or to the family for funeral expenses. Friends can express sympathies to the family online by visiting the tribute wall at www.andersonfuneralservices.com. Arrangements have been made with the guidance of the Anderson-Rudd Funeral Home, Blissfield.
