Sharon Roseann Stomberg, 83, of Germantown Hills, IL, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 5, 2025 at The Loft of East Peoria, IL.

She was born on July 22, 1942, in Streator, IL, to George and Florence (Hilyer) Moss. She married Arvid "Art" Stomberg on February 1, 1964.

Sharon was a loving, caring mother devoted to her family and loved spending time with her grandkids. She worked in the cafeteria at Germantown Hills Grade School and Junior High for 27 years before retiring in 2007.

She is survived by two sons, Arthur (Jill) Stomberg of Germantown Hills, IL and David (Nicole) Stomberg of Metamora, IL; six grandchildren, Nick (Laura) of Nashville, TN, Taylor (Caine) of Groveland, IL, Haley of Metamora, IL, Michaela of East Peoria, IL, Bradley of East Peoria, IL, and Brennen of Metamora, IL; one great-granddaughter, Sienna; and brother, Ronald Moss of East Peoria, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Visitation will be held at 10:00 am until service time at 11:30 am on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at Mason Funeral Home Germantown Hills with Reverend Gary Salm officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Metamora. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 530 NE Glen Oak Avenue, Peoria, IL 61637.
