Shaun Patrick Bruce, 62, of Lafferty passed away on June 28, 2025 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on July 18, 1962 in Rock Springs Wyoming to the late Maxine (Gilham) Brado.
Shaun was a city bus driver and dispatcher for the Ohio Valley Regional Transit Authority. He attended the Bethesda Christian Church. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, and golfing with his sons & friends. He loved to run with his two special ladies. He was a loving, devoted husband, father, pawpaw, brother, and friend. He loved spending time with his family and friends and wanted them to know he won against cancer; he is now running in Heaven with Jesus by his side. In celebration of his life, he asked that the guests wear their favorite OSU gear to his visitation.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Bradley and Michael Bruce.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 23 years, Debbie Bruce; children, Brandon Bruce (Sheena Weeks), Cody (Kerry) Bruce, Dustin Bruce, Tristan (Zoe) Bruce; bonus sons, Shaun (Nichole) Stiles, Robbie (Emily) Stiles, Casey (Rita) Stiles; grandchildren, Roddee, Mazie, Alydia, Leah, Arlie, Teddy, Elin, Lane, Elsie, Luca, Sonny, Jack, plus a granddaughter on the way, Isla; and also Addison and Corbin; Sister Shelly (Michael) Booth; niece and nephew, Amy (Bob) Shaw, Eric (Heather) Booth; brother-in-law, Mario (Amy) DeFelice, plus many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 from 11am until the time of service at 2pm at the Wilson Funeral Home, Bethesda Chapel, 322 North Main Street, Bethesda, Ohio 43719 with Pastor Tim Snyder officiating. Inurnment will be at the Gates of Heaven Cemetery at a later date.
