Sheila Jean (Bryant) Elkins, 75, of Winslow, Indiana, peacefully passed on July 13, 2025, at her home with her daughter by her side. She was born on April 16, 1950, in Washington, Indiana to the late Donald and Francis (Nelson) Bryant.
Sheila grew up in Winslow, Indiana and graduated from Winslow High School class of 1968. Her favorite band was the Beatles. She loved playing her guitar, oil painting, star gazing, and crochet. Sheila loved to spend time with her family, over several years she spent a lot of time with her grandchildren, and was able to spend time with her great grandchildren in the last three years.
Sheila was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Susan Mose and Donna Phillips.
Sheila was survived by her daughter Tina (Danny) Stone; her grandchildren, Tyler (Sydney) Gross, Sarah Stone, Draven Pancake, and Maverick Pancake; her great grandchildren, Trinity Gross and Syler Gross; her sister Connie Foley; and many nieces and nephews.
The world lost a most loving soul. She left a light of love in each of us and we will continue to shine in her memory.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18, 2025, at Lamb Basham Memorial Chapel from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM Eastern Standard Time. The service will take place on Friday July 18, 2025, at 2:00 PM at the funeral home, burial to follow at Sunset Cemetery in Winslow, Indiana.
