Sherri Blakeman Obituary

Sherri will be remembered for her beautiful smile, strength and love of her family including her "Chosen" family. She was a retiree of Members Heritage Federal Credit Union after 37 years, promoting from teller to Executive Vice President at her retirement on April 30th, 2025. While there she was known for her kindness to co-workers and customers and her patience and support for each and everyone. She enjoyed time at the beach, and anytime she could be in the sun. She never met a stranger that didn't shortly become a friend. Sherri was a member of Journey Non-denominational church. She was never seen without her Diet Coke and never met a person she was not willing to help.
Sherri is preceded in death by her son, Robin Webb; Mother, Judy Parkes; Father, Leroy Morris; and her grandparents, Dewey and Easter Morris, Everett Harrison and Gladys "Tad" VanArsdall.
She is Survived by her husband of 33 years, Ricky Blakeman; her son, Ryan Webb; Daughter, Kim (Jonathan) Wilkerson; grandchildren, Lincoln and Sawyer Webb, Isabella, Alice and Ben Wilkerson and Devin, Aubrey and Odin Eades; brothers, Michael Morris and John (Lynn) Morris; aunts, Leona Bales and Kaye Templeton.
Visitation will be held from 5-8PM Thursday, July 31st, 2025, at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home – Harrodsburg Road. the funeral service will be at 10:30AM Friday, august 1st, 2025 at the funeral home. officiating will be cousin and Pastor Bill Bales, and Pastor Mark Tolson. Burial will follow in Winchester Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Pat Ferry, Michael Morris, Jerry Combs, Raymond Ross, Robert Reed and Odin Eades. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Janice Phillips, Sharon Combs, Brenda Ray Truett and co-workers of Members Heritage Federal Credit Union.
