Sherri Lynn Gannan, age 57, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, in Mooresville, Missouri.
Sherri was born the daughter of Charles Michael and Betty Jeanette (Boyd) Huston on February 3, 1968, in Long Beach, California. Sherri was united in marriage to William Gannan on November 4, 2017, in Laclede, Missouri.
Sherri worked as a Caretaker and at HyVee before she retired due to illness. She enjoyed playing video games, especially Spyro and Lucky Tales. Sherri loved all things purple and unicorns. She also liked to listen to country and classic rock music.
Survivors include her husband, William; one daughter, Jeanette Irene Huston (Matthew Ryan Miller) of Chillicothe, Missouri; her father, Charles Huston of Oregon; four grandchildren, Artemis, Luna, Archer and Sage Miller; four brothers, John Robert Bowen of Chillicothe, Missouri, Donald Allen Bowen of Breckenridge, Missouri, Robert Harris of Chillicothe, Missouri and Anthony Brown of Chillicothe, Missouri; two nephews, Christopher Vaughn and Daniel Bowen; two nieces, Cynthia Bowen and Lesa Szczepaniak; two great nieces, Shyla and Trinady Dahms; and three great-nephews, Lincoln Bowen and Josh and Johnny Herrell. She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Jeanette Boyd; and one brother Jason Gerdsen.
A cremation was held. No services are planned at this time. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri 64601. Online condolences may be made at www.lindleyfuneralhomes.com.
