My beloved wife of forty-seven years, Sherry Jaras, 68 of Newcomerstown, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 30, 2025 at her residence with her beloved husband Tony son Edward by her side.

Sherry was born October 3, 1956, in Washington, Pennsylvania to the late Joseph and Jaqualin (Zumpetta) Ball. Sherry loved animals, cooking, and she also enjoyed landscaping. She fought so hard for so many years dealing with all the aspects of diabetes, but always kept in good spirits and enjoyed life, laughter, and her pets, and always kept that pretty smile. She was a loving and caring wife and mother and will always be in our hearts and memories.

The family would like to thank all of her doctors, nurses, dialysis techs, and all of the others who gave her special comfort and care throughout all of these years. They would also like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Interim Hospice, and also Father Tom Gardener of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Sherry would have wanted to raise awareness about the seriousness of diabetes, and encourage all of her friends and family to get a check up at the doctor.

Per Sherry's wishes, a cremation will take place. A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date.
