Sherry Darlene Sutton, a beloved resident of Brownwood, Texas, passed away on July 8, 2025. Born on October 22, 1954, in Dublin, Texas, to Ethel Joyce and Doyle Gene Palmer, Sherry was known for her loving personality and her passion for crafting, particularly knitting and crocheting. She also had a fondness for puzzles. She was a very dedicated woman, from her nursing career of over 25 years, she loved to serve and help however she could, especially at nursing homes.
Sherry is preceded in death by her parents, Ethel and Doyle Palmer, and her beloved husband, Johnny Sutton. She leaves behind her sisters, Pat Register and her husband Joe, and Brenda Prospect. Her legacy continues through her children, Jame Bailey, and David Bailey and his wife Jinnie, as well as her grandchildren, Raychel Diaz and her husband Juan, Kaleb Bailey, Tyler Bailey, Pressley Bailey, and her great-grandson, Christian Diaz.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, July 11, 2025, at 10:30 at Turnbow Cemetery, where family and friends will gather to honor her memory.
