Stephanie's passion for life was evident in the joy she found in the simple pleasures around her. She had a deep love for music and enjoyed the simple pleasure of coloring. She enjoyed being close to nature, whether it was hiking, fishing, or taking her boys on walks. Camping was a cherished activity; one she loved sharing with her boys. Easter egg hunts and trick or treating were annual highlights, adding to the beautiful memories Stephanie created with her boys, who were her world. This love was reciprocated unconditionally by her boys, a testament to Stephanie's loving nature.
Stephanie is survived by her father, Edward (wife Holly) Fettig, her mother, Cindy (husband Mark) Jones, her sons Cohen Fettig and Vincent Faine, her sisters Bethany Prickett, Jennifer Garland, Cassia Garland, Taylor Garland, and her brothers Tim Fettig, Nick Fettig, Andrew Smoot, her grandmother, Melba Robbins, and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Stephanie was predeceased by her son, Oliver Walker Fettig, grandmother, Ellen Farr, and grandfather, Thomas A. Robbins.
The funeral service for Stephanie and Oliver will be held on Thursday, October 16, 2025. at 3:00 pm EDT at Dunnichay Funeral Home, 1113 South Anderson Street, Elwood, Indiana, 46036. A viewing will also be held at the funeral home Thursday from 1 pm until the start of the funeral.
Stephanie's life was full of love, laughter, and creativity. To celebrate her life and legacy, we encourage you to share your memories and upload photos to Stephanie's memorial page. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

I was Stephanie's art teacher at Elwood high. She was a pleasure to have as a student and was well liked by her peers. I am sad to hear of her life cut short.
