She is survived by her son, Dale Atkerson (Belinda); sisters, Bobbie Jean Snyder and Annette Cooper; two grandchildren, Jennifer Daniels (Allen) and Sarah Keefe (William); three great grandchildren, Jackson, Gracie (Sam), and Noah; and many loving stepchildren, step grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her parents, Shirley is predeceased by her husbands, Johnny Atkerson, Louis Padgett, and Bill Bittinger, and brothers, Harvey Branham, Jr. and Donald Branham, and many step siblings.
The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 PM Sunday, July 13, 2025, at First United Methodist Church in Winnsboro, with funeral services starting at 2:00 PM conducted by Reverend Fran Connell.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Shirley's memory to First United Methodist Church.
