Shirley Fay Reese was born in Lebanon TN to Mary Frances Dedman and Grover Cleve Marler. She married Joel Reese and they set upon a faith-filled journey of making a home and raising sons. Shirley was a great cook and enjoyed providing meals for her family and friends. She collected many things, though dolls and jewelry were her favorite find. Flower gardening was also a wonderful hobby. Shirley was a member of the Church of God.
Mrs. Reese is survived by her husband of 65 years, Joel Reese; sons: Derrell (Brenda) Reese and Mark (Jena) Reese; grandchildren: Tyler, Hanna, Josh, Chasity, Courtney, Dustin, Cameron, and Michael; great-grandchildren: Evie, Owen, Lilly, Colin, Claire, Aradia, and Lawson; and close friend: Francis Bailey. She is preceded in death by son Jeffery Lane Reese and parents Mary and Cleve.
