Shon Reese Scott, 53, of Andrews, Texas went to be with his LORD and SAVIOR on July 4, 2025, in Kerrville, Texas.
Shon was born on July 23, 1971, in Odessa, Texas to Linda Varner Scott and Dale Scott. He was a self-employed Chiropractor at Restoration Chiropractic in Andrews for many years. Shon loved his work and his patients; he considered most of them like his family and would do most anything for them. He also loved his church family. Shon was a member of the Men's Bible Study; his Sunday School group and he even went on Mission trips to Mexico with many of his church family. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, woodwork, and camping. Shon loved listening to people with the goal of helping people with their problems and pains from his family and patients. There was nothing he would not do for the people he loved and will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Most of all Shon loved his family, especially his wife Jana who was always there for him.
Survivors include his wife Jana Dunlap Scott of Andrews; his Uncle Phil and Aunt Susie, Uncle David and Aunt Karen, a multitude of cousins, countless friends, patients and family not related by blood
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dale, and Linda Scott; in-laws, Richard and Josephine Dunlap and his aunt, Bobby Varner who was instrumental in his childhood.
A visitation will take place from 5:00 p.m. Friday, July 11, 2025, at McNett Funeral Home in Andrews. Funeral Services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 12, 2025, at First Baptist Church in Andrews with Rev. Michael "Brandt" O'Connor officiating.
