Stephanie Lynn Johnson Brooks, 56, Bagdad, died Saturday, April 12, 2025 at U. of L. Health Shelbyville suddenly and unexpectedly. A native of Shelbyville, she was the daughter of the late Zack Samuel Johnson and Hannah Louise Williams Butts. She was previously employed at Walmart for many years, working both as a cake decorator and in the deli. In her leisure time, she enjoyed shopping at Aldi's and spending time with her beloved grandchildren. Stephanie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. In addition to her parents, one sister, Nancy Estes, preceded her in death. Survivors include her loving husband of 26 years, Randy Brooks of Bagdad; two daughters, Brittany Renae Robinson (Dwayne Barnett) of Campbellsburg and Courtney Claudette Tracey (Zachary Sims) of Eminence; three siblings, Wayne Johnson (Connie) of Waddy, Michael Johnson (Katie) of Pleasureville and Donna Johnson of Taylorsville; two grandchildren, Brayden James Robinson of Bagdad and Chloe Grace King of Eminence; her brother-in-law, Mark Estes of Eminence; her stepsister, Donna Mitchell of Columbia; her niece, Savannah Hayes; her great-niece, Kalei Roberts and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 18, 2025 at 2 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home with visitation after 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Eminence Cemetery.
