Stephanie Michelle (Gardner) Hale, 76, of Sunbury passed away Saturday afternoon, July 5, 2025 at the Memorial Hospital of Union County in Marysville with her son, Barry by her side.
She was born August 26, 1948 in Mt. Vernon, Ohio to the late Frank Condon Gardner and Helen Rae (Queen) Gardner and later graduated from Westerville High School in 1967.
Stephanie worked in scheduling for Aetna Insurance for many years and in her earlier years, enjoyed bowling at Westerville Bowling Lanes. She also enjoyed going to lunch with her friends from high school and spending time with her 4 grandchildren.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Barry Michael (Rachel) Hale of Galena and Eric Edward Hale of Arizona; grandchildren, Ari Joseph, Zachary Michael and Lucy Jane Hale and Tyler Nathaniel Hale-Wetzel; brother, Donald Austin (Cheryl) White; brother-in-law, Dave Hale, niece and nephews, Courtney White, Kent White and Michael Hale.
In addition to her parents, Stephanie was also preceded in death by her husband Joseph Edward Hale and her sister-in-law Linda Kay Hale.
In accordance with her wishes, there will be no calling hours or services held.
