Son of the late Junior and Mary L. Freeman, Stephen is survived by his wife of 39 years, "Terry" Mary Therese Freeman; children, Judith (Steve) Chandler, Lisa Giles, AnneMarie (David) Seymour, Jeffrey (Eva) Freeman, Heather (Wade) Quillin and Deanna (Richard) Young; grandchildren, Hannah, Vincent, Sophia, Estella, Carly (CJ), Elliot, Charlie, Henry, Owen, Colton, Julia, Alex, Logan, Ella, Ivy, Hazel, Frederick, Walter; siblings, Linda (Larry) Boulton and Susan (Marlin) Hanstad; also many extended family and dear friends.
Stephen is preceded in death by his brother and sister-in-law, Daniel (Jolene) Freeman.
Visitation will be held at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 600 E. Main St., Brighton, MI 48116 on Friday, August 1, from 4pm - 7pm.
Interment of ashes will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the memorial contributions can be donated to Tunnel to Towers Foundation in Stephen's memory.

My condolences to the Freeman family. I´m so sorry to hear of Steve´s passing. We shared a lot of great memories over the years of our time together at Camp Dearborn. A great friend who will be missed but not forgotten.
