Stephen Anthony Rojeski of Riley, passed away July 3, 2025 at the age of 87.
Steve was born on December 1, 1937 in Mount Clemens, Michigan to Steven and Josephine (Flaga) Rojeski. He graduated from St. Peter Catholic High School in 1957 and went on to join the United States Army in 1961 and was active in the Army Reserves until 1966. On February 29, 1992 Steve married Bonnie Kirkum in Romeo, Michigan. Steve worked for Pontiac Motors as a UAW Benefits Representative and was a proud member of the UAW himself. Steve loved hunting, morel picking, riding his golf cart at his home and Tigers baseball. He was a lifetime member of the Armada AMVETS Post 93 as well as the Armada Lions Club and many other organizations. Steve went to his cabin in Manton, Michigan for over 50 years and enjoyed spending his winters in Venice, Florida with Bonnie. Above all Steve was devoted to his faith, he was a devout catholic attending St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church for many years. Steve was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and cousin, he will be deeply missed.
Beloved husband of Bonnie; loving father of Robert (Jennifer LaParl) Griffin and Robin Blumenschein; devoted grandfather of Travis, Robert III and Nicole; adored great-grandfather of Ariana and Robert IV; and cherished brother of the late Penelope Rojeski. Steve will also be deeply missed by his many cousins.
A visitation for Steve will be Tuesday, July 8, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. rosary at Tiffany-Young & Hauss Funeral Home, 73919 Fulton St., Armada. A funeral mass will be held Wednesday, July 9, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. with an instate time of 9:30 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 883 Capac Road, Allenton.
Burial will take place at St. Peter Catholic Cemetery, Clinton Township.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Capuchin Soup Kitchen or the Armada Lions Club.
