Steve Watson, age 85, of Woodlawn, TN passed away peacefully on July 18, 2025, in Erin, TN. Born on September 13, 1939, in Montgomery County, TN, Steve lived a life dedicated to his family and friends.
He leaves behind his sister, Nancy Jackson, and her husband, Wayne Jackson, along with many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews who cherished him dearly. Steve was a beloved member of their family, always known for his gentle spirit and caring nature. He was a member of Blooming Grove Baptist Church.
Steve is preceded in death by his parents, John and Mabel Watson, who provided him with a foundation of love and support. He is also preceded in death by his siblings: brother Franklin Watson, and sisters Shirley Ann Darnell, Peggy Jean Dufrene, and Annie Doris Armstrong, half-sisters Christine Atkins and Louise Johnson, half-brother John Watson and Paul Watson.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Anglin Funeral Home in Dover, Tennessee. The funeral service will be at 11:00 AM, Saturday at Anglin Funeral Home with Bro. Shelton officiating and burial will follow at Wilee's Chapel Cemetery in Woodlawn, Tennessee. His great nephews will serve as pallbearers.
Arrangements are entrusted to Anglin Funeral Home, Dover, TN and online condolences may be made at anglinfuneralhome.com.
