Steven Michael Brucker, known to many as "Scooby," passed away on July 18, 2025, at the age of 74, after a brief battle with cancer. A retired electrician and member of IBEW Local 124, Scooby loved being outside and took great pride in caring for everything he owned. He enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing, and scuba diving throughout his life. A lifelong Kansas City Chiefs fan, Scooby held season tickets for more than 25 years. He was a true social butterfly who never met a stranger, and his legendary fish frys were a highlight for all who knew him. Scooby enjoyed retirement by getting to move to his paradise at the Lake of the Ozarks. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Kathy Brucker. Scooby loved life and will be missed by many. Cremation arrangements are under the direction and care of the Kidwell-Garber Laurie/Sunrise Beach Chapel.
