Steven Setser Obituary

Steven Wayne Setser, 57, of Stilwell, Oklahoma, passed away on June 12, 2025, in Stilwell, the town where he was raised. A man of deep faith, unwavering love for his family, and quiet strength, Steve will be remembered as a devoted father, brother, and husband whose presence left a lasting mark on all who knew him.

Steve was born on August 25, 1967, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. He spent many years in Tahlequah, where he lived with his beloved wife, the late Pam Setser. Together, they built a life centered on faith, community, and raising their children. After Pam's passing, Steve eventually returned to Stilwell, the place that shaped his earliest memories and roots.

A proud and loving father, Steve is survived by his five children: Ally Bates, Keegan Setser, Lilly Setser, Brooklyn Watson, and Justin Setser. His devotion to them was steadfast, and he took great pride in their lives and accomplishments. Steve also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren, who brought him immeasurable joy, as well as many nieces and nephews who will continue to carry his memory forward with love.

He is also survived by three brothers and one sister: Bobby Setser, Loyd Setser, Kenny Setser, and Katina Setser, who will cherish the bond they shared and the countless memories they created together.

An ordained minister, Steve was deeply involved in the church he and Pam faithfully attended in Tahlequah for many years. His life was a quiet testimony to his belief in service, compassion, and the peace found in faith. Whether through his ministry, his friendships, or his role as a father and grandfather, Steve touched the lives of many with humility and grace.
