STEVEN ALLEN WEIS

Steven Allen Weis, age 65, of Raymore, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, August 9, 2025.

Services will be held on Sunday, August 17, 2025 at the Peculiar United Methodist Church, 20521 S. School Rd. Peculiar, Missouri. Flowers may be sent directly to the church. Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. followed immediately with a memorial service at 4:00 p.m. A private family burial will be held on a later date.

Steve was born in Kansas City, Kansas on March 13, 1960 to John Allen Weis and Ina Christine (Heit) Weis. Steve graduated from Paola high school in 1978, and completed technical training at DeVry University before staring his forty-three year engineering career at Honeywell, where he was currently a Vendor Contract Field Representative. Additionally, for 25 years, he worked as a firefighter/EMT with the West Peculiar Fire Protection District before retiring from there in 2019. Steve was a man of Methodist faith, loved riding his motorcycles and enjoyed yearly cruises.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents John and Ina Weis.

He is survived by his loving wife of thirteen years, Angela Weis; two sons, Collin and Carter Weis; four stepchildren, Jake Hacker (Shanon Godard), Michael Hacker, Austin Hacker, and Kendra Hacker and her two children Jackson and Emma Hacker; cousin Lora Heit (Karen Wedel); uncle Gary Heit (Deb); and many other friends and classmates.
