Obituary

Sue Ann Mock was born January 26, 1933 to the late Bertha Nelson Mock and Nathaniel Mock in Thomasville, North Carolina. She lived her life to the fullest and was well known throughout the community.

Sue attended Church Street School. She then went to work for Carolina Underwear, then retired from Thomasville Furniture. She couldn't sit still long and became the best biscuit marker McDonald's ever had here in Thomasville.

Sue enjoyed being surrounded by her family and friends. She was known for firing up some wood getting that big black pot out and frying up some of her hot fish. She was a great cook and her family looked forward to every meal she prepared.

Sue peacefully transitioned to her eternal home on July 21, 2025.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, all of her siblings and one daughter, Betty Sue Johnson.

Surviving to cherish her precious memories are two sons, James (Monica) Mock of Philadelphia, PA and Cecil Mock of Asheboro, NC; three daughters, Mary Ann Tate and Janet Burton both of Thomasville, NC and Helen Ann Mock of High Point, NC; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
