Susan's early years in Medford laid the foundation for her lifelong love of family and community. She was the beloved daughter of Charles Ferrari and Elizabeth Medugno Ferrari, both of whom predeceased her, and a loving sister to Elizabeth Marascia. Susan's education in Medford's schools shaped her bright mind and friendly spirit, traits that would guide her through a successful career and a fulfilling life.
In her professional life, Susan was the epitome of dedication. Her career began at Somerville Savings Bank, where she excelled in customer service. Her ability to connect with people led her to an account manager position at the Boston Globe, where she was remembered not only for her work ethic but also for her thoughtfulness.
Susan found her greatest joy in the company of her family. James Chetwynd, her devoted husband, stood by her side in both laughter and adversity.
